Amazon Publisher Cloud
Amazon Publisher Cloud
Current role: Creative Director/Product Design
What I do: UX, Visual Design, Branding, Product Marketing
For the past 5 years I’ve been hard at work designing and launching ad tech services like Amazon Publisher Cloud, Connections Marketplace, and Signal IQ. As an end-to-end product designer I’ve taken all of these high performing products from their raw idea state through UX design, to product marketing and launch.

Nike eCommerce Digital Campaigns
Role: Associate Creative Director
While I was at Agency.com (then Signal to Noise) we won the agency of record account for Nike’s interactive work for eCommerce. This was a performance driven account held to extremely high industry standards for ROI with a secondary mandate to push the interactive envelope. As ACD on the account I was the creative lead and with a small team was able to exceed performance metrics while also pushing the limits of what could be achieved within a digital ad space.
The result was often a delightful mini-experience that was fun to play with and generated a lot of revenue.

Adidas In-store Devices (Skava)
Role: Associate VP of Design
While at Skava my team developed in-store solutions for Adidas in the form of a self-service kiosk and a sales associate iPad app. The kiosk is a self-serve station allowing customers to search and order items beyond the store’s inventory. The tablet is used to aid sales associates as they assist customers. This in-store project was tested in the Adidas global proving ground, Moscow, and after several months it was deployed throughout Western Europe.
As associate VP of design I collaborated with tech teams in the US, the dev teams in India, and the client team in Moscow. I oversaw the UX and visual design of the app, and later duplicated it for Reebok, also owned by Adidas.

Rogers Benefit Group
Rogers Benefit Group
(Update: After launching this software suite RBG was acquired. This merger created the largest employee benefits general agency in the United States, Emerson Rogers.)
Role: Principal Product Designer
RBG is one of the nation’s leading general insurance agencies. They needed to create custom B2B software products plus a consumer facing website. Complexity level for the software was high due to the differing user types, permissions, and integrations with all major insurance carriers. I designed dashboards, admin tooling, a rating engine, a broker resource hub, and a handful of other utilities as part of the project.
The main piece of software, the rating engine, had one goal — reduce the time it takes for a broker to create a quote for a client. This is something the brokers do hundreds of times during their busy season and which can take up to an hour each time. One of my proudest work moments was finding out the rating engine had reduced that time to as little as 2 minutes.
For this project I partnered with their management team to help define, refine, and launch their products, and I handled everything on the creative end from wireframes to the final visual design, and the product marketing materials.
Launched in 2020.

Apple Transact
Apple Transact (Skava)
Role: Associate VP of Design
Apple Transact is a fully custom, in-store associate sales & financing tool that my team developed for Apple’s emerging markets. It allows the in-store associate to facilitate product discovery and financing all in one app. Sounds easy, but it involved integrations with many unique banking APIs. It rolled out to 2000 stores, and a few months after launch it had already logged 50,000 transactions.
As associate VP of Design, I oversaw the front end design which meant collaborating with Technical Solutions Architects, managing the UX team through wireframe design, and then visual & interaction design. I was hands-on during the several phases of this project and named the app as well.

Nike “Baby It’s Cold Outside” Ad
Including this here because it’s such a great example of turning a simple ad into a much larger experience. Initially, it was meant to be a simple 300x250 ad banner that would play during the holidays, but it was so well-received that it turned into a campaign, became a Nike.com homepage video, and was played in-store in every Nike store in America and China.
As ACD on this project I collaborated with and oversaw art directors, designers, coders, and motion graphics artists, to pay off the idea of making Nike’s women’s holiday print catalog come to life.
The ad was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion that year. So close!
Nike, Product Photography & Holiday “Chaser” Video
Had a lot of fun art directing product photo shoots and motion graphics for Nike.
